Primary Duties & Responsibilities include:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Retail & Wholesale Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team at Senso Group Building Supplies Inc. In this role, you will assist in sourcing and purchasing products to meet our growing business needs while ensuring optimal inventory levels and supplier relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in wholesale buying and contribute to our company’s success.
Responsibilities
Support the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing products from various suppliers, ensuring alignment with company needs and budget constraints.
Assist in analyzing market trends and consumer demand to inform purchasing decisions.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels using procurement software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to coordinate product launches and promotional activities.
Evaluate supplier performance and assist in building solid relationships to optimize our supply chain.
Contribute to the development of purchasing strategies that maximize profitability and minimize costs.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Business Management, or a related field.
1+ year of experience in purchasing, wholesale & retail
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
Experience with inventory management systems and procurement software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with wholesale purchasing processes and supplier negotiations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of supply chain principles and inventory management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
