Join Sardis Secondary School as a Child and Youth Care Worker. Engage with students, provide support, and collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance student behavior.

As a Child and Youth Care Worker, you'll assist the principal in implementing strategies for students facing behavioral challenges. Your role involves close collaboration with parents, teachers, and support services to develop and monitor behavior management plans. By working directly with students, you help shape their social skills and reinforce positive behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing individualized behavior strategies
• Plan and monitor behavior management programs
• Participate in consultations with various stakeholders




• Offer one-on-one support aligned with IEP goals
• Supervise recreational activities and education programs

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences or related field
• At least one year of experience with emotional disorders
• A valid B.C. Class 5 driver's license
• Crisis response and behavior management skills
• Team collaboration and effective communication abilities
