At On Side, our Contents Technicians play a vital role in helping clients recover during one of the most challenging stages of an insurance claim.
From carefully packing, handling, cleaning, and restoring valued belongings to returning items to our clients’ properties, our Contents Technicians also help bring comfort, normalcy, and peace of mind back to our clients.
As some of the final team members on site, their attention to detail puts the finishing touches on every project and helps clients take the final step toward recovery.

The Supervisor on this team reports to the Operations Manager / Content Manager and helps with the day-to-day direction of the team. Leading communications with Project Managers, Adjusters and trades communication skills are a necessary requirement of the job.

Compensation Salary Range: $24-$30/hr

What You’ll Do Leading and providing direction to the team
Training Contents Technicians in proper policies and procedures
Communicating with cross-functional teams and clients
Working with customers to restore personal and commercial items to pre-disaster state
Packing and cataloging contents from disaster affected areas and creating inventory lists
Cleaning contents and structures
Cleaning fabrics and textiles
Assisting contents/operations managers in performance evaluations and development of field staff




Assisting with hands‑on expertise to reduce additional trips to site/cost
Managing staff schedules and warehouse activities
What You Bring At least 2 years of experience in leading a team
Technical skills: expertise in property damage assessment, restoration techniques, and construction industry knowledge
Commitment to corporate citizenship, social responsibility, and values
An optimistic outlook and a real desire to help
Tech ability and comfort using Encircle, MS Office and Excel,ability to quickly learn and navigate digital tools and systems
Exceptional organizational skills
Physically fit (ability to lift, carry and pack boxes) and willingness to follow all company safety requirements
Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal
Valid driver’s licence & clean drivers abstract
Clean criminal record
IICRC certificate, valid or expired, is an asset

Of Note: Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
