What you will be doing: The Engine Systems Engineer is responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership in the area of developing engine & hybrid control system strategies.
Experience in either propulsion system control development and/or calibration is desired. The candidate should be experienced in engine controls, hybrid controls, engine systems development, calibration and FE/emissions testing. The candidate must be a strong team player, systems focused with interdisciplinary experience & expertise, and willing to work in fast paced setting. The Engine Systems Engineer is responsible for both individual technical project deliverables, coordinating activities and bringing projects to successful conclusions.
What you'll need to be successful: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering,
Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Applied Physics, or any other relevant STEM oriented degree from an ABET accredited university.
1-5 years of total experience in engine system controls/calibration development.
Demonstrated technical leadership on propulsion system control and calibration development projects.
Demonstrated knowledge of internal combustion engine physics, engine regulatory requirements and engine OBD.
Demonstrated ability in control algorithm development methods.
Effective experienced based or analytical problem solving ability.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and teamwork.
Demonstrated potential to teach, lead and inspire.
