Position Summary
We are looking to hire a casual Administrative Services Assistant for the Invermere Health Centre, located in Invermere, BC. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team! This position will support the operation of Invermere Public Health.

What Will You Work On?
As an Administrative Services Assistant, you’ll provide reception, administrative, and health unit aide support to the Public Health programs. You’ll be an significant point of contact for clients, families, staff, and service providers, supporting the smooth delivery of programs through client scheduling, data entry, records and information management, correspondence, and responding to inquiries.
You’ll also help keep programs running efficiently by coordinating supplies and equipment, maintaining inventories, preparing reports and materials, organizing meetings, and supporting day-to-day administrative needs. Your attention to detail, organization, and ability to work effectively with a variety of people will help ensure clients and care teams receive timely and responsive support.
What should your application include?
A 5-minute typing test (40+ nwpm) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months (non-supervised tests not accepted). Click here for testing details;
An office administration certificate from a recognized institution;
Your Resume outlining one year of recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).
Qualfications
Education, Training & Experience
Grade 12,
Certificate from a recognized office administration certificate program, plus
One year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Ability to type at 40nwpm
