The incumbents will perform one or more of the following functions:Road InspectorPlant (asphalt/concrete) InspectorWinter Road InspectorInstrument PersonSenior Density InspectorRegional Engineering AssistantQualificationsCivil Engineering Technology Diploma or completion of the Department Level 2 training courses by May 1, 2026.Experience working in all aspects of roadway construction (including but not limited to, grade, base, asphalt and/or concrete paving projects).Ability to work effectively in a team setting.Ability to work effectively independently.Effective time management and organizational skills.Knowledge of construction specifications, procedures and guidelines.Knowledge of Occupational, Safety, Health & Risk Management policies and procedures.Knowledge of Microsoft Office software package including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and courteously with internal and external stakeholders.Clear and concise written communication skills when completing field notes, portions of construction orders/tenders,
