George Gordon School requires a Temporary Part-Time (0.5 FTE) Librarian to commence as soon as possible and conclude end of day June 28, 2027.

Salary and perks are per the current CUPE Agreement. The hours of work will be equivalent to 3 hours and 5 minutes per day, arranged by the principal.

Qualifications:

- Grade 12 standing
- Experience and/or training as a Library Technician
- Experience and/or training with Destiny
- Ability to catalogue print and non- print materials using the Dewey Decimal System and the Sears list of subject headings
- Ability to communicate and cooperate with students and staff, and as a team player
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with basic skills such as filing, typing, and word processing




- Computer skills, email, and Internet research skills would be an asset
