Wakaw School requires a Temporary Part-Time (0.5 FTE) Educational Assistant to commence as soon as possible and conclude on June 25, 2027.

Salary and perks are per the current CUPE Agreement. The hours of work will be equivalent to 3 hours and 5 minutes per day, arranged by the principal.

Duties

- Role of the Educational Assistant as outlined in Role Description
- Providing academic, developmental and social support for students with academic and behavioral issues

Qualifications

- Experienced and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students with academic and behavioral issues




- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are perceived as definite assets in this assignment
- Possess a valid driver's license (so that transportation for students with diverse needs can be accommodated where needed)
