As an integral part of the Research and Development team, you will verify parts against designs, perform pre-assembly tasks, and ensure the quality of mobile equipment. Your expertise in heavy-duty mechanics will be required to track parts, support prototype testing, and maintain strict safety standards during assembly processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify parts conformance to designs and blueprints
• Perform pre-assembly cleaning and lubricating tasks
• Align components for assembly using proper lifting techniques
• Conduct risk assessments prior to work commencement
• Inspect and test assembled products for functionality
Requirements:
• Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Certification or equivalent
• Five years of experience with mining industry equipment
• Two years of exposure to equipment assembly or rebuild
• Ability to travel up to 15% for field testing
• Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills
