As a Refrigeration Technician at CHEO, you will maintain and install essential refrigeration and air conditioning systems, primarily in support of critical medical operations. You will also lead design and coordination efforts, while actively troubleshooting problems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid mechanical skills and a proactive approach to ensuring system integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute the installation of refrigeration systems
• Repair and maintain cooling systems critical for medical supplies
• Inspect, test,



and troubleshoot system components
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Collaborate with the maintenance team on projects

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years National Journeyman Refrigeration certification
• Experience in healthcare facilities is preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
• Ability to interpret construction drawings
• Proven skills with power and hand tools
