Preferred Painting Contractors Pty Ltd is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our professional team on a full-time basis, servicing the Brentford Square and wider Whitehorse area. Known for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, we take pride in maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism on every job site.
In this role, you will play an essential part in executing various phases of painting projects from preparation to final finish. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their trade and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team-oriented team.
Erecting scaffolding, setting up ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect furniture, floors, and adjacent areas from paint splatters and damage
Preparing surfaces thoroughly through cleaning, scraping, sanding, filling holes and cracks, and applying primers and sealers to ensure a smooth and durable finish




Mixing and matching paints and other finishes to achieve the desired color and consistency according to project specifications
Applying paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment with precision and care
Cleaning up the work area upon project completion and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and safely stored
Complying with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines on site
