Applicants will be responsible for the personal care and safety of clients and for the implementation of individual lifestyle plans.Duties and Responsibilities:Resident Care – includes assistance of personal hygiene (bathing, toileting, dressing, eating etc.)Resident Programming – includes the facilitation of resident daily living activities and participation in the community.Home Maintenance – includes housekeeping, laundry and the preparation of meals and snacksEmployment Type:Temporary, Full-TimeDuration:Until August 11, 2026Wage:



This position starts at $19.3317 per hour.The Applicant:Applicants would typically qualify for this position through the completion of a grade 12 education with previous experience working with adults with cognitive and physical disabilities in a residential setting. A Disability Support Worker (Rehabilitation Worker) course, Special Care Aide course or equivalent education is preferred, Food Safe Certificate is a requirement, Sign language is desirable. The incumbent must complete Basic Skills Training as provided by LCC. Applicants must be available to work shifts that include days, evenings & weekends.
