You Are:
You're the voice of the customer. You own the backlog with clear rationale, lead sprint planning with cross-functional teams, provide leadership on small pieces of work, and begin supporting business casing.
The Work:
PRODUCT CRAFT
Leads sprint backlog readiness and planning with cross-functional teams, gaining alignment
Partners across business, design, and development, fostering collaboration and communication
Manages the product backlog with clear prioritization rationale
Establishes user-story definition and acceptance criteria for the product backlog
Facilitates trade-off decisions by balancing business need, customer experience, and technical feasibility
Plays an active role in agile ceremonies — discovery and framing, cross-platform coordination, stakeholder governance
Works to remove obstacles and blockers for the team
Supports and where applicable, drives value casing / business-case / KPI development
Feature writing and refinement
Applies AI to user-story drafting, backlog management, and prioritization; validates outputs
CLIENT AND CONSULTING
Manages client interactions confidently and professionally
Clearly articulates ideas, tradeoffs, and recommendations
Builds trust through reliability and problem-solving
Handles scope, feedback, and delivery with minimal oversight
Begins to mentor others on consulting behaviours
Uses evidence-based storytelling to align stakeholders and influence product decisions
Provides leadership on small pieces of work or initiatives
Drives clarity from ambiguous client asks; proposes ways to resolve bottlenecks and improve quality

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Minimum 2 years of experience with proven ability to drive and deliver a successful product roadmap in an Agile environment, including facilitating user-story mapping and product workshops
Minimum 1 year of experience writing features, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in a product development environment
Minimum 1 year of experience working with clients to capture experience or technology nuances and enablers and translate them into actionable next steps
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required for this position
Demonstrated use of AI tools in day-to-day product work — user-story drafting, backlog management, prioritization, research synthesis — including the judgment to evaluate and validate AI-generated output rather than accept it at face value
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
Must be eligible for Reliability Security clearance
Bonus Points If:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience
Solid understanding of product team roles and responsibilities within a full-scale product team
Extensive knowledge of product delivery models from inception to execution
Strong analytical, data-driven mindset that keeps the end user at the heart of product creation
Conflict management skills within planning and prioritization processes
Comfort in creating content from scratch to tell the product story
Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Rally, and Version One for tracking project scope
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Experience in SAFe, Scrum, Lean, and Kanban methodologies
Certification in Agile (POPM, APM, CSPO)
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
