Join Fraser Health as a Power Engineer Maintenance Specialist focused on equipment operation and repair. This role involves ensuring the functionality of autoclaves, sterilizers, and steam plant equipment in a hospital environment.

As a vital part of Fraser Health's team, you will report to the Chief Power Engineer 3 and perform preventative and emergency maintenance on various systems. The position requires effective communication, technical expertise, and hands-on experience managing steam piping and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative and demand maintenance on autoclaves and sterilizers
• Operate steam and heating boiler systems ensuring optimal operation
• Maintain and repair steam piping systems and components




• Monitor chemical treatment systems for compliance and proper adjustment
• Conduct analysis on boiler systems for efficiency and treatment

Requirements:
• Certificate as a 4th class Power Engineer in B.C.
• Minimum of two years related maintenance experience
• Robust ability to communicate effectively
• Proficiency in reading technical blueprints
• Physical capability to perform maintenance tasks
