Job Summary:
As a Seasonal Tire Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing tire changeovers, mounting, balancing, and inspecting tires on passenger vehicles and light trucks. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, safety, and customer service.
Duties
- Install, balance, and repair tires on a variety of vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires to assess wear and damage.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform tire-related tasks.
- Assist customers with tire selection based on their needs and vehicle specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Previous tire or mechanical experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Valid driver’s license
Seasonal Employment Details:
- Season: October - December
- Schedule: Full-time including some Saturdays
- Potential for long-term employment based on performance and business needs
