Amada, a global leader in the machine tool business, is currently seeking an outside Tooling Consultant with experience and knowledge in the sheet metal manufacturing industry. Previous sales experience is an asset but not required.

Our ideal candidate comes from a metal fabrication shop with hands-on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Promote the sales of tooling and related products in Ontario and western provinces.
- Achieve specific goals and targets by supporting and maintaining existing customer accounts, as well as developing new accounts.
- Interact with management and service personnel on customer issues.
- Assist with the preparation of technical sales quotes and documentation
- Attend training seminars on new products.
- Actively participate in company sponsored trade shows and events

Qualifications

- Good knowledge and understanding of sheet metal fabrication process
- Possess excellent customer service skills




- Comfortable with cold calling and new customer development
- Strong work ethic, self-starter, resilient
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license (class G) and passport
