Okanagan Gymnastics Centre (OGC) is looking for an experienced and motivated Trampoline Gymnastics Head Coach to lead and grow our TG program.

Located in beautiful Kelowna, BC, OGC is a growing, community-focused gymnastics club offering recreational and competitive programming across multiple disciplines. Our TG program includes Trampoline, Synchronized Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline (DMT), and Tumbling, with athletes competing at Provincial and National levels.

This is an opportunity for an experienced coach who is ready to take on a leadership role, develop athletes and coaches, and contribute to the continued growth of a competitive TG program.

THE OPPORTUNITY The TG Head Coach is responsible for the overall leadership and development of the TG program while continuing to provide direct coaching to competitive athletes.

Working closely with the Executive Director and OGC coaching team, the Head Coach will establish program goals, develop training and competition plans, support athlete progression, mentor coaches, and help build a positive and successful team culture.

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical coaching with leadership, organization, and a genuine commitment to athlete development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the planning, delivery, and ongoing development of the TG program;
- Coach competitive athletes across Trampoline, Synchronized Trampoline, DMT, and Tumbling;
- Develop athletes through appropriate technical, physical, and competitive progressions;
- Prepare Provincial and National-level athletes for competition;
- Develop annual training and competition plans and monitor athlete progression;
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to TG coaches;




- Support coach education and career development;
- Foster a secure, positive, respectful, and athlete-centred training environment;
- Work collaboratively with OGC leadership, coaches, athletes, and families;
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the TG program.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate will have:

- NCCP Trampoline Gymnastics certification appropriate to the position, or equivalent qualifications and experience;
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive Trampoline Gymnastics coaching experience;
- Demonstrated experience coaching Provincial and/or National-level athletes;
- Strong technical knowledge and coaching experience in Trampoline, DMT, and Tumbling;
- Experience with athlete development and competition preparation;
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
- Experience mentoring or supporting other coaches is an asset;
- A professional, reliable, self-motivated, and collaborative approach;
- Current First Aid/CPR certification;
- Respect in Sport certification;
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check.
