Your Role
As an HR Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting employees, managers, and the HR team across multiple Ontario locations. You'll contribute to the employee experience by ensuring smooth HR operations, accurate employee data management, and engaging workplace initiatives.
Maintain employee records and process HR and payroll-related transactions, including employee lifecycle changes and position management
Coordinate benefits administration, employee file management, audits, and HR data updates to ensure accuracy and compliance
Support onboarding activities and assist with recruitment administration, including job postings, offer letters, and candidate communications
Serve as a resource for employees and supervisors regarding HR programs, benefits, payroll inquiries, and HR systems
Collect, analyze, and maintain HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to support decision-making
Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, training initiatives, and community involvement events
Create and maintain employee communications through digital platforms, bulletin boards, posters, presentations, and other communication channels
What you bring
You're a natural fit for the HR Technician role if you have:
A certificate, diploma, or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
1-2 years of experience in HR coordination, HR administration, payroll support, or a related administrative role
Experience working with HRIS, payroll systems, recruitment platforms, and the Microsoft 365 suite
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
A customer-focused approach and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle; experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or transportation environment is considered an asset
