Jardeg is currently recruiting for Carpenter Forepersons for upcoming work with Woodland Constructors at the Syncrude/Aurora in Wood Buffalo, AB.

Travel Allowance of $250/rotation is available for eligible candidates.

Job Scope - Concrete slab to construct for a building, and in addition some roof repairs.

As a Carpenter Foreperson you will:

Supervise and mentor a team of carpenters in office

Ensure top-quality workmanship and safety standards

Work closely with site leadership and trades to maintain project flow and efficiency.

Lead construction on projects and ensuring that construction goals are achieved and meet or exceed client expectations

Produce work that results in an exceptional client experience

Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high quality standards

Work with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates according to the established project schedule

Provide clear direction to those team members you’re leading, to ensure project targets are achieved

Attend and providing input at project meetings and ensuring that information is transmitted to those on your team

Assist the target production goal,



then establishing a team workflow while executing the plan to achieve it

Support staff through coaching and team huddles

Efficiently and safely usethe relevant tools and equipment needed to produce the various assemblies for the project

Support and maintain healthy, happy work environments and corporate culture

Maintain clean, organized, and professional presentation of work sites

Requirements:

CSTS-2020

Must be able to clear a pre-access drug and alcohol test

Valid Government Issued Identification

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
