St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools seeks a Temporary High School Science teacher at Holy Trinity Academy in Drayton Valley. Teach core Science courses and engage in student development.

This full time role begins on August 26, 2026, with potential extension possibilities in a vibrant school community of approximately 300 students. Ideal candidates will not only teach Science 9, 14, and 20 but also contribute to the school's extra-curricular programs and foster holistic student development through a Christ-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach high school Science according to curriculum standards
• Encourage student involvement in extra-curricular activities
• Provide guidance on academic and personal development




• Collaborate with peers for educational excellence
• Prepare engaging lesson plans and assessments

Requirements:
• Certification in Education with a focus on Science
• Involvement in co-curricular programs preferred
• Certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph's College is an asset
• Current Criminal Record Check required
• Alberta Children's Services Intervention Record Check needed
