Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards
- able to handle both flat deck/ dry vans
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and delivery receipts
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to load or unload freight, demonstrating physical strength and endurance




- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environmentQualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type
- Proven experience in driving large trucks or commercial vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for transportation
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual handling tasks
- Commitment to safety standards and punctuality in delivery schedules
