We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team! Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over long and short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs to ensure seamless communication and record-keeping
- Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate freight movement efficiently and accurately




- Follow all company policies regarding safety procedures, hours of service, and cargo handling protocols

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; forklift certification is a plus
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy-duty truck operation and freight transportation
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, perform inspections, and handle equipment as required
