Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor for K to 12 students to inspire academic growth and foster a love of learning. In this role, you will provide personalized tutoring sessions across various subjects, helping students develop essential skills and confidence. Your energetic approach and clear communication will motivate students to reach their full potential while creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

Duties

- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning styles
- Assist students with homework, assignments, and exam preparation across multiple subjects including math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Develop customized lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Foster a supportive, encouraging atmosphere that boosts student confidence and enthusiasm for learning




- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding student performance and areas for growth
- Maintain organized records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and lesson plans

Requirements

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching K to 12 students in various subjects
- Solid communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Experience working with children, demonstrating understanding of developmental needs
- Classroom experience is highly desirable for understanding educational environments and curriculum standards
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs
- Reliable, organized, and committed to creating a positive learning experience for each student
- Passionate about education and helping students succeed in their academic goals

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
