This role supports the Therapeutic Recreation Manager by planning and executing various recreation programs for residents. You'll maintain respectful relationships with both residents and staff, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. The position also includes administrative tasks such as documenting program participation and developing monthly calendars for activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement creative leisure programs for residents
• Promote and organize outings, crafts, and entertainment events
• Assist in documenting resident engagement and safety




• Coordinate with external groups for additional in-house activities
• Facilitate volunteer support and orientation for new staff

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 education
• Recreation or Health Care Aide diploma preferred
• Prior experience in a senior-focused environment
• Valid Class 4 BC Driver’s License required
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work with cleaning supplies
