Muslim Hands Canada is seeking a passionate and relationship-driven Fund Development Coordinator to strengthen community engagement and support fundraising initiatives across Canada.
This role is responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with mosques, Islamic schools, community organizations, and businesses while coordinating fundraising campaigns, community events, and local outreach initiatives. The successful candidate will help expand Muslim Hands Canada's national presence through meaningful partnerships, donor engagement, and community-focused programming while ensuring fundraising activities deliver measurable impact and return on investment.

Based at: Mississauga, Canada
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strategicpartnerships with mosques, Islamic schools, community organizations,businesses, and community leaders across Canada.
Build and strengthenrelationships with Imams, Shaykhs, Shaykhas, educators, and Islamicorganizations to expand fundraising and community engagement.
Coordinate mosque tours,fundraising presentations, community outreach, and educational initiatives.
Execute annual fundraising andpartnership strategies, setting regional priorities, monitoring performance,and adapting approaches to maximize revenue, donor retention, and communityimpact.
Identify and cultivate newpartnership, sponsorship, and donor engagement opportunities.
Plan and execute fundraisingevents, including galas, iftars, sporting events, and community campaigns,overseeing all event logistics, along with coordinating stakeholders andvolunteers.
Support local communityprogrammes, including food distribution, hot meal initiatives, food banks, andvolunteer engagement.
Manage partnership and eventbudgets,



track fundraising performance, and measure return on investment (ROI).
Maintain accurate CRM records,partnership documentation, invoices, and prepare reports on fundraisingperformance and community impact.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in BusinessAdministration, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, InternationalDevelopment, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience infundraising, partnership development, donor relations, community engagement, ornonprofit relationship management.
Proven experience buildingstrategic partnerships, securing sponsorships, and planning successfulfundraising events and community initiatives.
Solid communication,networking, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engagedonors, community leaders, and stakeholders.
Experience managing budgets,tracking fundraising performance, and preparing reports using CRM systems andMicrosoft Office/Google Workspace.
Knowledge of Islamic values andthe Canadian Muslim community, with the ability to travel across Canada andwork evenings/weekends as required.
A valid G driver's licence isan asset. Proficiency in Arabic, French, and/or Urdu is considered a strongasset.
