SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 22 (Vernon) is seeking a Child Care Manager who has a diploma in Early Childhood Education and at least five years of experience. The successful candidate will understand the BC Early Learning Framework and child care regulations. Management, relationship-building and strong communication skills are key for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee child care programs and staff management
• Implement the BC Inclusive Child Care Strategy
• Manage budgeting and financial reporting for programs
• Build relationships with children, parents,



and staff
• Ensure compliance with child care licensing regulations

Requirements:
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in child care management
• Understanding of BC Early Learning Framework
• Valid Class 5 BC driver's license
• First Aid certification and specialized ECE certification is an asset
