Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Structural Designer in the Engineering consulting industry in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The Structural Designer will support mining, heavy industrial, hydropower, and dam projects by producing structural 3D models and 2D drawings under the direction of the Lead Structural Designer. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, the successful candidate will contribute to the design and detailing of reinforced concrete and structural steel structures, supporting both front-end studies and detailed engineering phases. Responsibilities include structural modeling, drafting, and design coordination for a variety of industrial projects.
Total rewards: $90000.00 - $96000.00 annually

Typical day: Produce and maintain technical and engineering drawings and models using 2D and 3D CAD software as required




Perform conceptual layout work
Develop design details
Ensure coordination with designers and engineers within the discipline, and with other disciplines
Perform clash detection of models with other discipline models
Verify onsite condition and dimensions relating to existing facilities
Assist the design with the delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope, quantities, cost and schedule
Incorporate safety in design
Successful candidates will have: Technical school diploma specializing in civil/structural design5+ years of experience in Structural design. Experience in mining & heavy industrial structures Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D structural design/drawing software packagesExperience with Bentley, Microstation OpenBuildings software would be considered an assetExperience with Revit, AutoCAD & AVEVA would be considered an assetExperience within a large project, multi-disciplinary EPCM workplace
