They will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to have full understanding, ownership and accountability for his/her portfolio of assets. This role requires more than a number-cruncher, but a financial storyteller who understands the why behind our properties.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPreparation of the full cycle accounting for a portfolio of assets including monthly,
quarterly and annual close processesMONTHLY PROCESSESPreparation of working papersReview and approval of bank reconciliationsReview of AP entries and AR reportsVariance analysis and resolve discrepanciesForecast and analyze monthly cashflow requirementsComplex lease analysis – review and approve lease set upsTracking of co-tenancy schedulesReview of draw packagesQUARTERLY PROCESSESPreparation of quarterly variance analysis, financial and lease reportsPreparation of budget reforecastsANNUAL PROCESSESPreparation of comprehensive financial statements in accordance with IFRS or ASPE and preparation of audit supportsPreparation of CAM reconciliations and review subsequent billingPreparation of annual budgetsAct as key liaison with various internal stakeholders including but not limited to property administrators, property managers, leasing, legal, and corporate accounting on matters that have financial impact on assigned entitiesAssist and contribute to process improvement efforts as neededOther ad hoc duties analysis and reconciliations as assignedQUALIFICATIONSREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESPossess strong organizational skills and high attention to detailAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced setting and meet deadlines under pressure.
