You will report directly to the Director of the Western Technology Transfer Office. Your mission will be to boost the commercialization of intellectual property while engaging with faculty, students, and industry partners. This role includes managing patents, negotiating business agreements, and seeking current opportunities for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies to enhance technology commercialization
• Manage patent applications and innovation disclosures
• Negotiate terms for licenses and industry collaborations




• Identify funding sources for prototypes and startups
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a relevant Engineering or Science field
• At least 5 years of experience in business development
• Expertise in technology transfer and industry negotiations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capacity to manage multiple projects efficiently
