As a Victim Support Worker in the Sex Crimes Unit, your responsibilities will include offering trauma-informed care and assisting clients through the complexities of legal processes. With a commitment to client-centered service, you will play a key role in the recovery of individuals affected by sexual violence. Your insights into community dynamics and crisis intervention will help shape effective support strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Vancouver Police’s Sex Crimes Unit
• Support clients in developing safety strategies




• Provide resources and accessibility to community support
• Engage in continuous client advocacy for justice
• Record and manage sensitive client documentation

Requirements:
• B.S.W. or similar B.A. degree
• Two years’ experience in victim advocacy
• Familiarity with crisis intervention methodologies
• Robust teamwork and communication capabilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy

Utilize your skills to significantly influence the support network for survivors of sexual violence.
