Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Regulatory Capital Specialist for a 3-month contract supporting a Canadian financial institution. Following a recent regulatory capital and reporting review, the organization has identified several opportunities to enhance regulatory reporting processes, streamline workflows, improve data management, and strengthen compliance with capital reporting requirements.
This individual will be responsible for taking approved recommendations and helping embed them into day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will work closely with finance, operations, reporting, and technology teams to implement reporting improvements, document and optimize processes, identify automation opportunities, and ensure regulatory capital reporting requirements are effectively supported across the organization's systems and workflows.
A significant portion of the role will involve understanding how regulatory reporting data flows through core banking, lending, underwriting, and loan origination platforms, identifying operational inefficiencies, and helping establish sustainable processes that can be owned and managed by internal teams after the engagement concludes. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in regulatory capital reporting who can bridge business processes, reporting requirements, and systems while driving implementation and operational readiness.
