The Maintenance Technician supports the general maintenance and repair of our Casino facilities, equipment and grounds.DescriptionPosition at Grand Villa CasinoJob Type: Full‑TimeMonday to Friday – 8am to 4pmSalary Range: $48,920 – $55,035We ProvideFull benefits package for full‑time employeesRetirement savings planExciting, supportive and fun work environmentFamily and friends discounts on travel, tech, food, beverage, and fitnessDevelopment and training opportunitiesKey ResponsibilitiesSupport day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of the Casino facility and grounds.Assist with the operations of the Building Automated System as directed.Perform inspections and maintenance as required on Casino floor, offices, kitchen facilities, washrooms, all parking areas and grounds.Ensure all safety standards as described in the WorkSafe regulations are adhered to, including protective equipment and clothing.Assist in repairing and/or troubleshooting minor plumbing, electrical and mechanical issues.Establish and maintain a well‑equipped and organized workshop.Assist with purchasing parts and controlling inventory,



while supporting budget planning and cost‑saving initiatives.What You BringMinimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance related field.Knowledge and experience in some or all of the following trades: plumbing, HVAC, tiling, carpentry, finishing, minor electrical, and related areas.Skilled at maintenance practices, procedures, and repair work, along with hand tools and equipment common to building trades.Working knowledge of Outlook (Word and Excel) is an asset.Valid BC License and positive driving record.Ability to work flexible hours and available to be on call 24/7 to respond to emergencies.Good attitude, proactive, and skilled mindset.Gateway is a proud equal opportunity employer and dedicates itself to Respect, Integrity, Team‑Work and Exceptional Customer Service.
