Salary Range $100,000 - $110,000 Position Overview The Senior Financial Analyst will manage financial operations and partner administration for the partnership. The role handles recurring accounting activities, financial reporting, tax filings, and coordination with external professionals, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional service to partners across multiple regions. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Finance. Responsibilities Prepare and post monthly accounting journal entries (JEs). Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records. Update Excel loan amortization schedules and CG Limited Partnership (“LP”) accounts monthly. Process directors’ payroll tax remittances and external vendor invoices. Maintain the global employee loan book and reconcile with global controllers. Prepare and distribute statements to participants, including current and capital account and loan statements for ~150 participants. Prepare full annual financial statements (including notes). Coordinate with external auditors for review engagements. Administer directors’ fees payments, current account distributions, and withholding tax payments. Coordinate with external professional firm on annual T5013 filings, ensuring personal information (address, work location, date of change) is accurate across regions. Coordinate and ensure timely remittance of payroll taxes and withholding taxes on distributions, and compliance with annual tax filings (e.G., T5013, T4,
T4 summaries). Manage annual LP subscription closing, including share/cash subscriptions and participant communications. Collect account opening documents for all partners and set up portal access. Administer LP certificates and maintain accurate partner records. Handle onboarding for new partners, including loans from entities, share transfers, schedule updates, and true‑ups. Respond promptly to participant inquiries and provide accurate information. Support Other CG Strategic Initiatives And Projects Support finance‑related aspects of CG strategic initiatives, including transformation projects across finance teams. Assist with the implementation and documentation of process improvements, internal controls, and system enhancements related to partnership accounting and reporting. Participate in special projects involving cross‑functional teams (Finance, HR, Tax, Legal, and regional controllers) to support global consistency and compliance. Prepare analysis, schedules, and summary materials to support management decision‑making for CG initiatives. Contribute to projects arising from new strategic initiatives or evolving requirements. Provide ad‑hoc analysis and support as requested by management. Skills & Qualifications CPA designation required. 5+ years of experience in partnership accounting/bookkeeping, finance/accounting roles with a strong understanding of tax compliance processes related to payroll, partnership distributions, and annual filings; familiarity with payroll administration required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with MS Access, Power BI/Power Query, SSRS, SQL or related tools is an asset.
Experience in a broker–dealer firm preferred. Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with high‑touch stakeholders and global partners, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of inquiries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑regional coordination. Familiarity with Dataphile (DPH) or similar accounting systems preferred. Demonstrated experience and ownership in managing end‑to‑end financial processes, including financial and tax cycles & filings, and partner administration, with accountability for accuracy and deadlines. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high‑volume processes accurately. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a quick‑paced environment. Effective ability to collect, organize, analyze and circulate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
