About the Job In accordance with established vision and values of the organization and reporting to the Professional Practice Leader (PPL), this position is responsible for the direction, supervision, coordination, evaluation, planning and monitoring of the Computed Tomography (CT) and Interventional Radiography (IR) section in accordance with Interior Health Medical Imaging goals and directions. Acts as an expert clinical resource to staff and students working in the section.
In concert with the PPL directs the operation of the CT and IR area. Provides input on budget initiatives,
workload, strategic/tactical planning, labor relations, change management, patient safety, project management and human resources management. The incumbent is responsible in consultation with the key parties for interpreting and implementing all organizational regulations, policies and procedures as they apply to CT and IR.
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
Shifts of work will be scheduled Monday to Friday day shift.

Qualfications Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program such as Computer Tomography relevant to the designated specialty area. Three years’ recent related experience within CT including one year of supervisory/management experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
