Obsidian Energy is looking for a Senior Field Health & Safety Advisor to bolster safety protocols across their operational sectors. This full-time position requires ongoing site visits to provide guidance on safety behaviors and policies. A deep understanding of health and safety in the oil and gas arena and a knack for influencing safe practices will be essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support safety initiatives during project stages and field operations
• Provide training and coaching for team members on site




• Engage in health and safety event responses and analyses
• Promote adherence to the Health & Safety Management System
• Lead health and safety-focused inspections and observations

Requirements:
• Over 10 years’ health and safety experience in oil and gas
• Educational background in Occupational Health & Safety
• CRSP or CRST designation considered beneficial
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving history
