The Corporation of the Town of Midland seeks a dedicated Equipment Operator to maintain municipal infrastructure through hands-on operation of various machines. This full-time position offers a great chance to work outdoors and contribute to community services.

In this permanent, full-time role, the Equipment Operator will report to the Supervisor, Operations, and engage in routine maintenance using light, medium, and heavy equipment. You'll support municipal needs across roads, sidewalks, and parks while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate trucks and heavy equipment like graders and backhoes
• Conduct year-round maintenance on roads and sidewalks
• Perform emergency on-call duties when necessary
• Engage in material hauling and construction projects
• Uphold safety standards and Town values in all tasks

Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience with heavy equipment
• Valid Class “DZ” driver's license
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lifting
• Knowledge of road maintenance practices
