Position Reporting to the Research and Development Coordinator, the R&D;/Scientific Technician assist the R&D; Coordinator and the Quality and R&D; Director coordinates all daily in research and development and scientific activities.
Responsibilities More specifically, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
Know and comply at all times with applicable quality and food safety standards , occupational health and safety regulations , and company policies ;
Develops and manages recipes according to demands,



the market and applicable regulation
Modifies recipes and adjust related documentation
Helps to improve processes
Develops specifications for new products according to the applicable regulations
Develops and validates the local printings (labels, cases printings, etc.) according to the applicable regulations
Maintain and modify the information contained in the ERP software
Develops Nutrition Facts tables for products
Documents R&D; tests
Implements recent products
Runs production tests for new products
Develops and makes samples of new products for customers
Offers technical support for questions from customers and consumers
Plan and coordinate scientific validation tests
Perform other tasks related to R&D; and Scientific at the request of the immediate supervisor
