Career Opportunity: Summer Student - FoundryLocation: Burns Lake, BCEmployment Type: Seasonal – Summer StudentResponsibilitiesReport to the program manager for tasks to be completed daily and weeklyEnsure that the program is serving clients to the best of its abilityUnderstand and learn about the CSFS program being temporarily worked inProvide administrative support for the program manager or assigned program staffPrepare, key in, edit and proofread written correspondenceOpen and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail, and coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizationsSchedule and confirm appointments and meetings for the programOrder office supplies and maintain inventoryAnswer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay calls and messagesMaintain manual and computerized information filing systemsRecord and prepare minutes of meetingsArrange travel schedules and make reservationsAssist with coordinating eventsAssist with cultural activitiesAssist with other duties required by the program supervisorRequirementsBetween 18 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employmentRegistered as a full‑time student during the preceding academic yearIntends to return to full‑time study during the next academic yearWage RangeThe target hiring range for this position is $22.88 to $29.63 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred, or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range, depending on role‑specific knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
