Support impactful health education research at UBC as a Research Assistant 3. Engage in qualitative research, participant recruitment, and data analysis to explore student loneliness and isolation.
This role within the Centre for Health Education Scholarship (CHES) involves collaboration with the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators. You will assist in developing research materials, coordinating data collection, and analyzing qualitative data. Your contributions will help deepen understanding of critical issues affecting students in health professions, including medicine and nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in qualitative research, including body mapping and interviews
• Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings effectively
• Collaborate with the research team to ensure timely project completion
• Help draft research reports, presentations, and manuscripts
• Maintain data security and confidentiality adhering to ethics protocols
Requirements:
• University degree in relevant discipline; three years of experience required
• Commitment to diverse perspectives and collaboration
• Robust analytical skills for qualitative data analysis
• Familiarity with research software for data handling
• Willingness to support administrative tasks as needed
