SUMMARY Reporting to the Workday Manager, the Workday Analyst plays a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Workday HCM, Absence, Benefits, Security, Recruiting, Talent, and HiredScore. The successful candidate brings strong hands‑on experience in Workday configuration and reporting and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment—someone who enjoys technical configuration alongside business process improvement and direct stakeholder engagement.
PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE WORKDAY CONFIGURATION & ADMINISTRATION Provide expert support by troubleshooting issues, resolving user inquiries, and ensuring smooth system operations across Workday HCM, Absence, Security, Recruiting, Talent, and HiredScore. Configure and maintain business process workflows, security groups/domains, and integrations. Collaborate with HR teams to translate business needs into data‑driven Workday solutions.
REPORTING, ANALYTICS & DATA MANAGEMENT Build and maintain Workday reports and dashboards (Advanced, Matrix, Composite Reports; Calculated Fields) to support HR teams and leadership. Coordinate with the payroll team on data retrieval, EIB loads, and reporting functions. Conduct regular audits of data integrity, security, and compliance across supported modules.
PROJECTS, RELEASES & GOVERNANCE Participate in Workday-related project deployments, including semi‑annual Workday releases (regression testing, impact analysis, and release notes review). Create and maintain documentation for Workday configurations, business processes, and reports.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of HRIS experience, including 5+ years configuring Workday in at least three of the following modules: HCM, Absence, Benefits, Security, Recruiting, Talent, HiredScore.
Hands‑on experience building reports using Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Advanced/Matrix/Composite Reports, and Dashboards.
Experience with EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) for data loads and integration support.
Experience configuring and maintaining Workday business process workflows and security (domains/groups).
Completion of a Human Resources degree/diploma from a University/College.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential personal information in accordance with data privacy and ethical handling standards.
Strong attention to detail to protect the integrity of HCM architecture, processes, security, and data.
Ability to manage competing priorities and shifting timelines in both structured and unstructured environments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work directly with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, and leadership.
A collaborative, continuous‑improvement mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
WHAT WE OFFER Expected Base Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity and work location.
