What You’ll Do:
Safely operate snowplows, and other winter maintenance equipment.
Plow roads and assist with snow and ice control operations.
Apply salt and sand to improve road conditions.
Complete vehicle inspections and routine equipment care.
Monitor changing weather and road conditions while adjusting operations as needed.
Assist with loading winter maintenance materials.
Respond to winter weather events and emergency operations.
Complete daily documentation and operational records.
Work safely while following Township policies and provincial legislation.
Support the team throughout the winter season.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:




Holds a valid DZ or AZ Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Has experience operating DZ or AZ vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
Takes pride in operating equipment safely and professionally.
Is dependable, adaptable, and willing to respond when winter weather arrives.
Values teamwork, safety, and serving the community.
Can work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Summary
This is a Seasonal Contract from approximately November 2026 to April 2027 position.
Number of vacancies: 5
Normal hours of work may vary including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. On-call and standby responsibilities.
Working across the Township yards; Kenilworth, Damascus, Arthur and Mount Forest.
