As an Associate Producer at CKUA, you’ll join a team-oriented content team, utilizing strong editorial skills to create engaging audio features, podcasts, and segments. Your work includes researching, interviewing, recording, and editing alongside Senior Producers and hosts, ensuring a high standard of storytelling. You will juggle various projects, demonstrating an understanding of music genres and their cultural relevance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Research topics and prepare interview questions
• Conduct interviews tailored to host styles




• Edit audio using Reaper or Adobe Audition
• Support music curation for features and projects
• Coordinate technical resources for broadcasts

Requirements:
• 3-4 years of production or broadcast experience
• Proficiency in audio and video editing
• Strong research and writing skills
• Familiarity with project management tools like Asana
• Interest in music and cultural storytelling
