Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree or suitable combination of education and experience in instructional contexts relating to equity and diversity. This role focuses on course preparation and assessment while utilizing tools like UMLearn and MS Teams in both online and in-person formats. You will also support student success and foster a diverse learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and adapt teaching materials for courses
• Conduct classes through different learning methods
• Assess and evaluate student contributions and assignments
• Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Comply with educational policies and standards
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or associated experience in education
• Proven background in adult learning principles
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with sensitive discussion facilitation
• Technical proficiency with teaching tools (Zoom, D2L)
