Empower women in recovery at Ruth and Naomi’s Mission as a Recovery Support Worker. Focus on compassion and guidance in a faith-based environment during primarily overnight shifts.

This casual position in Chilliwack, BC, requires flexible hours, especially evenings and weekends. Candidates will support individuals in a women’s addiction recovery program, utilizing the Genesis Process model. You'll foster an encouraging atmosphere while assisting with life skills development and group facilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support life skills development and structured activities
• Offer emotional support and crisis intervention
• Promote a safe and encouraging recovery workplace
• Collaborate with the team and maintain accurate documentation
• Assist with group facilitation

Requirements:
• Experience in addiction recovery or social services is an asset
• Trauma-informed and harm-reduction understanding
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check required
• First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days of hire
