The Department of History at the College of Arts & Science is looking for a Sessional Lecturer for the Winter 2026-2027 session. This engaging course will require an advanced understanding of Canadian history and sensitivity to Indigenous perspectives. Ideal candidates will possess at least an ABD in History, with preference given to PhD holders, and the role allows for flexible delivery options to Saskatoon.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach History 193.3 focusing on Turtle Island People
• Prepare and conduct classes on Thursdays from 10am-12:50pm




• Assess and mark student assignments and essays
• Maintain effective communication with students
• Adapt course materials as necessary for diverse learning needs

Requirements:
• Minimum ABD in History, PhD preferred
• Valid driver’s license for off-campus courses
• Solid commitment to equity and diversity
• Excellent organizational and teaching skills
• Flexibility in course delivery and preparation
