Join IWK Health in Halifax as a dedicated Occupational Therapist focused on pediatric rehabilitation. This full time, temporary role involves evaluating and creating care plans for children in a Family-Centered Care environment.

Reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation Services, you'll work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team on assessments and strategies for child patients. Your responsibilities include developing tailored care plans, engaging with families, and ensuring continuity of care. As a qualified professional, you will participate in meetings and contribute to pediatric rehabilitation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess children's therapy needs through evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with families, OTs,



and community partners
• Document assessment findings and care plan changes
• Assist in team meetings and pediatric sub-committees

Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved Occupational Therapy program
• Registered with NSOTR; eligible for CAOT membership
• Two years of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
