Suger is seeking a Senior Accountant to enhance our hybrid finance operations in Downtown Vancouver. This role emphasizes accounting ownership, daily operations management, and process improvement in a fast-growing environment.

As a Senior Accountant, you will manage crucial finance tasks including day-to-day accounting operations, invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end close. You will also work collaboratively with external accountants and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role is pivotal as Suger expands its financial function across both the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and reconciliations
• Own invoicing, vendor payments, and cash tracking




• Prepare journal entries and maintain financial records
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and reports
• Improve workflows and internal controls for efficiency

Requirements:
• 4+ years of accounting experience in a software company
• Robust understanding of full-cycle accounting
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and similar platforms
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment
• CPA designation is a plus
