Join Dene High School in La Loche as a Land and Language Facilitator, focusing on Indigenous cultural education. Drive community engagement and language revitalization efforts.

This full-time, temporary role, ending June 2027, is dedicated to collaborating with educators, students, and community stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have experience facilitating land-based learning, solid organizational skills, and be able to contribute positively to school culture. Proficiency in Cree, Dene, or Michif is an asset enhancing communication.

Key Responsibilities:
• Promote land knowledge through community engagement
• Coordinate language and culture education initiatives
• Work with Elders to implement traditional teachings
• Develop partnerships for cultural activities
• Support students in land-based learning

Requirements:
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience in First Nations education
• Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle
• Flexibility in working hours is required
• Solid ability to work as part of a community team
