Job Summary
Linkletter Farms Limited is seeking a qualified electromechanical technician who can make an immediate impact with their current skill set, but also someone who is open to learning current things, as we have a lot of operation-specific equipment. We are seeking a technician with the skills to improve the reliability and output of our receiving lines and storages, but who is also willing to work in different areas of the farm as needed.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain storage and handling equipment such as conveyor motors, machine sensors, fan motors, intake/exhaust doors
Diagnose faults in electrical systems used on the farm, such as ventilation control systems, receiving line control systems, irrigation controls
Troubleshoot equipment and controls as they break down
Calibrate sensors used in potato storage systems
Monitor the proper function of storage and receiving systems
Digitalize and document the repair and maintenance of all such activity through an ERP named PATH
Recommend improvements in processes and upgrades that may be required throughout the potato storage and handling department
Qualifications
Technical diploma or certification in electromechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years driving experience
Experience working with agricultural equipment, specifically:
Potato receiving line equipment (dirt elimination equipment, conveyors, box fillers, etc.)
Storage warehouse systems and controls, and related sensors
Irrigation controls

Benefits and Compensation Information
Hours of work are dependent on production. Flexibility to work on days, evenings and Saturdays would be required.
