Certified Circular Saw Filer,Grand Forks, British Columbia Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Certified Circular Saw Filer in Grand Forks . Starting rate for this position is $51.245 per hour.
** A relocation package may be available for this position **
What You’ll Do Astrong commitment to working safely with the ability to follow and promotesite safety policies and procedures.
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair primaryand secondary breakdown machine centers with regards tosawfiling.
Assist production personnel with any sawing flow related problems.
Maintain open lines of communication with all departments and personnel necessary to ensure proper operation and maintenanceof equipment and facilities.
Handle filing room workload to Head filerstandards.
What You Offer Able to maintain job safety, qualityandefficiency.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a highlyinteractive / energeticteam environment.
Knowledge of power transmission machinery/parts includinggear boxes, chainsandbearings is an asset.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ability to function well under pressure.
